Morris dancing and live music will be on offer at the Museum of St Albans later this month during its Folk in Focus weekend.
The Hatfield Road museum will be held on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24.
Visitors will be able to watch the St Albans Morris Men perform routines on the Saturday, and those feeling brave will be able to learn some of the steps themselves.
Musician John Devine will be running workshops on Sunday teaching people how to play the tin whistle.
Councillor Mike Wakely, portfolio holder for sports, leisure and heritage at the district council, said: "Folk music has a strong heritage in St Albans and the surrounding District.
"This exhibition gives an insight into how folk music has evolved and offers the opportunity to learn how to Morris dance and play the tin whistle."
