A GROUP campaigning for acute services to remain at Hemel Hempstead Hospital wants to hear from anyone who has had a difficult journey to Watford General.
The Save Hemel Hospital Campaign is considering taking legal action against the West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust over the centralisation of acute and emergency services at Watford.
It says it needs evidence from people in St Albans and Harpenden who have had trouble going to Watford for treatment to help it put together a case.
Campaign spokesman Jan Maddern said: "Whether you have had a horrendous journey that has caused distress, experienced poor service at Watford due to overcrowding or overworked staff, or even had a terrible time at Hemel because of the cuts already in place we need to hear from you urgently."
Mrs Maddern said people should send details of their experiences to St Albans MP Anne Main, either by email to maina@parliament.uk or by post to The House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.
