Harpenden pupils visited by 'inspirational' author
Schools across Harpenden found their inner poet after they were treated to a workshop with children’s author Fred Sedgwick.
Pupils from High Beeches School, Wood End School, Beech Hyde School and The Grove Junior School were invited to Aldwickbury School for the day.
They worked alongside Year 6 boys from Aldwickbury and together, with guidance from Fred Sedgwick they brought poetry alive.
Freddie Stayton, a pupil from Aldwickbury School, said: "It was an inspirational day with an inspirational poet. Thank you Fred Sedgwick."
