Children will be able to show off their building skills in a Lego display competition.

The Lea Primary School in Moorland Road is hosting a Lego Exhibition on Saturday, April 27.

As well as building their own models, visitors will be able to have their faces painted and take part in a mini figure hunt.

Sue Stevens, the chair of the school’s PTA, said: "It is the first time we have done it. If it is successful we will make it an annual thing.

"I’m really looking forward to it. I’m sure the children will have fun - there is lots going on."

Refreshments will also be provided through the day, which will run between 10am and 4pm.

Tickets for the event, which cost £2.50 in advance and £3.50 in the door, are available from the school office.
