The Eiffel Tower, Tower Bridge and Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon were just some of the models that were on show during a Lego exhibition in Harpenden.
More than 700 people visited Lea Primary School in Moorland Road for the event on Saturday.
Sue Stevens, chairman of the PTA, said: "It was fab. We had a great day and we’ve had fantastic feedback.
"People were just beaming and they were so excited.
"It was hard to tell how many people were going to come but it exceeded our expectations.
"We would like to repeat it next year."
During the exhibition, which was open between 10am and 4pm, visitors had the chance to build their own creations, hunt for model figures and watch Lego movie clips.
Annie Jeffs visited the school with her children Ethan, 2, and nine-month-old Harriet.
She said: "The exhibition was brilliant. Ethan really loved the train that was moving around the models.
"It was a really good day out.
"They had an adult competition too which was great."
