Harpenden has picked its new representatives at Hertfordshire County Council.
Thousands of residents visited one of the district’s 73 polling stations to cast their vote today.
The final results were as follows:

Elected - David Williams (Conservative) - 1672
Pamela Bancroft (Green) - 398
Jeffrey Phillips (Liberal Democrats) - 547
Rosemary Ross (Labour) - 468
Harpenden South West
Elected - Teresa Heritage (Conservative) - 2569
Michael Gray-Higgins (Labour) - 436
Maria Moyses (Liberal Democrat) - 382
Rosalind Paul (Green) - 238
The overall political make up of the county council will emerge tomorrow morning as other parts of the county announce their results.
