Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre in St Albans encourages Forever Fit class for over 50s
A St Albans leisure centre is encouraging residents over the age of 50 to get active this summer by offering free fitness classes.
Men and women are invited to come along and take part in a free Forever Fit class in Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre, operated by Everyone Active.
The low impact sessions incorporate aerobic and toning exercises and are designed to help improve muscle tone, strengthen the heart and lungs and burn calories.
Forever Fit sessions are held in the leisure centre in Holywell Hill every Tuesday from 9.30am to 10.30am, Wednesday from 10.30am to 11.30am and Friday from 10.15 to 11am.
Steve Cox, Everyone Active contract manager, said: "This is a great opportunity for people to try a new fitness class or return to exercise in a safe and fun environment.
"By offering free sessions for new customers we’re hoping to encourage many more people in their 50s to keep fit and healthy."
To book the free session contact 01727 736 080.
