Children are being asked to have their say on how funding will be spent on a new play area in Batford.
Harpenden Town Council has secured cash to redevelop Porters Hill Park play area for children up until 8 years.
This follows a successful installation of equipment for older children in 2010. They have been since been consulting with children and are keen to obtain the views of the wider community to influence the type of equipment that could be installed.
Park facilities also include a natural play area with a zip-wire, basket swing, slide and a wooden climbing frame, a large grassed area for informal games and football and a multi-use games area with floodlighting.
