Children and their parents made the most of the sunshine at the Killigrew Primary and Nursery School’s summer fair.
Bouncy castles, beat the goalie competitions and county dance displays took over the school field on Saturday, July 6.
A jazz band also performed during the afternoon.
Emma Green, a member of the school’s PTA, said: "We are very grateful to all the donations that were given by the parents of the school and local businesses, without whose support the event would not have been the success it was.
"Thousands of pounds were raised on the day and there is still money coming in for the raffle which will be held later this week.
"It took a lot of work and effort by the volunteer team to pull off the event, and the PTA would like to thank all the teachers, parents and friends of the school who helped out.
"Seeing everyone enjoying the day and hearing the great feedback made it all worth it."
