Preparations are well underway for Wheathampstead’s annual Village Weekend, which will begin on Saturday.
A parade, live music and a fair are just some of the things residents will be able to enjoying during the two-day celebration.
The event will kick off with the Wheathampstead’s Got Talent competition in Memorial Hall, following by an evening of live music on The Meads.
On Sunday, a parade will make its way through the village, full of floats from local schools, organisations and charities.
There will also be a Samba band performing throughout the day.
Irene Casper, deputy clerk at the parish council, said: "It is going to be a fantastic event.
"The talent show has always been really popular.
"We’re very excited and we’re really looking forward to it.
"It’s a real family weekend."
