Bosses at a St Albans based biscuit company have raised about £20,000 by climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales.
The board of directors at Burton’s Biscuits, which is based in Victoria Street, took on the Three Peaks Challenge last month.
The team of 11 attempted the fundraiser in aid of Children in Need.
The money raised in the Three Peaks Challenge will be added to other cash raised during the year, bringing the company’s fundraising total to £50,000.
Chief marketing officer Stuart Wilson said: "The team spirit and camaraderie displayed throughout the challenge was inspiring, and meant everyone successfully reached the summit of each mountain.
"We would like to thank everyone who has supported us for donating so generously to Children in Need."
