A charity supporting older people in the community is hosting an auction evening for a night of fine dining, entertainment and bidding wars in Harpenden.
Age UK Hertfordshire will host the evening on Friday, September 27 at Harpenden House Hotel in Southdown Road.
Funds raised throughout the evening will help Age UK Hertfordshire continue to provide support and care for thousands of older people in the local community.
The Town Mayor of Harpenden, Rosemary Farmer, will open the evening.
Tickets to the event cost £40 per person which includes a three course meal and musical entertainment provided by the Harpenden based quartet ‘Broadside’ throughout the evening.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bid for a range of luxury and fun items and experiences including a Samsung Galaxy tablet, a three night stay in a luxury hotel in Marrakech, a flight in a Cherokee plane, tickets to the National Ballet in London and a one to one cookery class with professional chef Steven Kitchen.
