Crowds flock to Lovestock music and skate jam one day festival at The Pioneer Club
Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy a day of music, skating and food at the Lovestock music and skate jam one day festival on Saturday.
The Pioneer Club, in Heathlands Drive, off Harpenden Road, hosted the event which attracted more than 400 people to enjoy a DJ set which presented a full day of dance and electronic music by the Skate Jam Collective.
Live bands and acts presenting a range of genres from Contemporary Rock to Indie to singer-songwriters and alternative were on the main stage as well as a skate jam in the skate park.
Paul Rivers, event promotions organiser, said: "It was an excellent day and everything ran smoothly.
"Everyone was really happy and the staff and organisers are over the moon with the day. They are already planning the next one.
"We would like to thank everyone who came, the bands, DJs and skaters for giving their time.
"It couldn’t have gone any better."
Mr Rivers said he hoped the Pioneer Charity hoped they could build on the festivals and organise music gigs every month.
