Members at Harpenden Sports Centre have been enjoying the chance to train alongside England and Saracens rugby star Owen Farrell.
The Saracens fly-half has been using the leisure centre to stay in peak condition for the new Aviva Premiership season which kicked off at the weekend.
Personal trainer at the centre and England Rugby 7’s star Ollie Marchon, recommended the centre to Farrell and joined him for his first workout.
Farrell was part of this year’s British and Irish Lions squad that won the first test series in Australia for the Lions since 1997.
The 21-year-old discovered his passion for rugby union upon moving to Harpenden in 2005. He represented England for the first time in 2012, making his debut in a Six Nations Championship encounter against Scotland. He has since scored more than 150 points for his country.
Alex Bedford, contract manager at Harpenden Sports Centre, said: "We are delighted to have such an elite-level sportsman using our facilities at Harpenden Sports Centre.
"Owen has shown his dedication to his fitness by training with us following his tour of Australia and we wish him the best of luck in the new season."
