Explore the city on St Albans Giant Monopoly fun tour
The annual St Albans Giant Monopoly fun tour of the city takes place on Sunday between 11am and 5pm.
There are two routes to choose from which will take you to a number of landmarks and points of interest across St Albans. Attractions include the Clock Tower, Verulamium Museum, the Roman Wall and The Vintry Gardens.
There will be activities at the various checkpoints including street magic at the Vintry Gardens; a sculpture trail from the Ye Olde Fighting Cocks to the bridge over the boating lake in Verulamium Park. There will also be circus skills at the Abbey Gateway, inflatable games at Verulamium Park and an opportunity to visit prison cells at the Old Town Hall.
Councillor Beric Read, Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement and Localism, said: "The Giant Monopoly event is a fantastic way for all the family to explore St Albans and to find out more about this beautiful historic City.
"It forms part of the wider Heritage Open Days weekend which helps celebrate architecture and culture around the country and includes events in St Albans."
