Harpenden restaurant, Café Jeera, raises more than £1,000 for the Ian Hutcheon Children’s Clinic
A Harpenden restaurant has raised more than £1,000 at a charity fundraising evening.
Café Jeera, in Station Road, organised the special food evening on Sunday, September 22 to raise £1,186 for the Ian Hutcheon Children’s Clinic, a cause that aims to improve the lives of children with hearing impairment in Uganda.
Guests were also joined by the town’s Mayor Rosemary Farmer, and the evening’s entertainment was provided by Gordon Ramsay lookalike Martin Jordan.
