Expanding addiction charity, the Living Room in St Albans, receives £300 cash boost
A charity that supports people in St Albans who are affected by addiction has received a £300 cash boost.
The money will be used to fund car parking for the volunteers and staff that help to run the Living Room, which offers a free counselling service and free workshops to adults and families recovering from addiction.
In the first nine months of operation, the St Albans branch had 84 referrals and is expanding.
The money has come from Hertfordshire County Council’s locality budget.
