Staff at Evans Halshaw car dealership take on fundraising mission for cancer charity, Hope for Tomorrow
A St Albans car dealership is delighted to announce they have signed themselves up for a national fundraising mission for cancer charity, Hope for Tomorrow.
Evans Halshaw in Ashley Road has begun the Charity Challenge, which will see staff pulling out all the stops to ensure the group’s £260,000 target is met.
The dealership has signed up to the mission in order to provide support for Hope for Tomorrow - a charity which aims to alleviate some of the stresses and strains associated with receiving treatment for cancer.
The team are now urging visitors to the dealership and people in the area to keep their eyes peeled for forecourt carwashes, bake-sales, and a bunch of motor enthusiasts donning weird and wonderful costumes for dress-up days. And with a £260,000 target to reach, the team are prepared to go to great lengths in the name of charity.
David Jolles, dealer principal at the St Albans branch, said: "Hope for Tomorrow is a fantastic cause which makes a difference to thousands of cancer patients and their families and at Evans Halshaw we’re only too keen to get on board and show our support.
"We’re extremely passionate and proud to be a part of Charity Challenge and with plenty of exciting fundraising ideas up our sleeves, we determined to meet the £260,000 target."
