Grylls will arrive in Harpenden Community Halls by helicopter when he takes part in the Gang Show.
Harpenden and Wheathampstead District Scouts will get the chance to meet Bear Grylls, Chief Scout and world famous explorer when he flies in on Sunday.
Grylls will arrive at Crabtree Fields Scout HQ in Waldegrave Park by helicopter when he takes part in the town’s scout Gang Show and peak assault mountaineering competitions preparation.
The event, dubbed Bear in the Air, aims to raise the profile of scouting to help recruit adult volunteers so that more young people can take part in scouting.
