Cryptic graffiti message appears on Caroline Sharpe House site in St Albans
A cryptic graffiti message has been written on the boards that surround the demolition site of Caroline Sharpe House in St Albans.
Residents living nearby the Chiltern Road sheltered housing have been left wondering whether the sprawl which reads ‘Real eyes realise real lies’ has a significant meaning to the history behind the house.
The house is currently being demolished to make way for a new home to be completed by North Hertfordshire Homes in July next year.
In May 2009, 24 residents in the current Caroline Sharpe house were moved into temporary accommodation and by the end of 2009 the majority had been temporarily relocated to Linley Court, in Valley Road.
Heavy rock and metal band Machine Head released a song called ‘Real eyes realise real lies’ in 1994.
Do you know what it means?
