The legal limit is 35 microgrammes; also, on same date, used a motor vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £994. Banned from driving for 18 months, to be reduced by 18 weeks if approved course undertaken.
Alan Keith R Hardey, 49, of Temple View, St Albans. On January 19, 2013, failed to report accident to police within 24 hours of its occurrence. Fine, costs: £305. Five penalty points.
