Children don their best bug and butterfly fancy dress outfits in Butterfly World charity fun run
Children donned their best bug and butterfly fancy dress outfits on Saturday to take part in charity fun run at St Albans’ Butterfly World in Chiswell Green.
Along with their parents, 25 children of all ages took part in the 1km run to raise money for Keech Hospice Care.
Sally Cornish from the Butterfly World Project, said: "Everyone had a great time and they all seemed to enter in to the spirit of it.
"We had lots of fancy dress outfits, a lady bird, a great spider and fly."
The organisers are still counting the money which was raised on the day.
However £500 has been raised for the Keech Hospice as part of the Butterfly World’s fundraising efforts this month.
