Residents and community groups are invited to a conference which is aimed at understanding St Albans' changing population and its impact on the community.

The annual Community Conference will take place on Thursday, November 7 at the Rothamsted Conference Centre in Harpenden from 9.30am to 2pm.

The theme for this year’s conference is "Our Place, Our People - The changing profile of the District" which will give residents an opportunity to hear about the changes to the make-up of the district’s population and what that means for society, the community and the environment.

Community groups are also encouraged to bring a poster promoting their organisation for display at the event.

Residents can book a place at the Community Conference at http://spannualcommunityconference-eorg.eventbrite.co.uk/ or by calling Lisa Smart on 01727 819399 or emailing at lisa.smart@stalbans.gov.uk.

Places need to be booked by Monday, October 28.
