Ghost, Vampires, Witches, Zombies, Clowns and a Terminator where amongst the crazed crowd queuing outside the Manor, all waiting to get their teeth in to the delights of the Den.

The 5th - and most successful - night of Rock promoted by Dean Archer kicked off with an acoustic set by Hatfield musician Jean Paul playing 3 of his own songs which went down a storm with the Breaks Manor audience. He was followed by local lads Terry Knight and Sam Sargeant of Sonic Scream, who returned to The Den with a 45minute set of raw, rocking mainly self penned songs with just a couple of covers thrown in for good measure

Their set list included:  Ain't having that; Pull the plug; Your touch (Black Keys cover); Sweetish trip; Alive again;  Four kicks (Kings of Leon cover), Last shot, Die-die-die; Blow by blow; 7;  Dare means try;  Powerfuzzed and  Monkey paw.

The storm was now brewing nicely for the main act and at 9.15pm, Nigel, Baz, Phil, Paul and Daz burst onto the stage, enter the sCOPYons. They ripped through their set, as a tribute to the Mighty German Rockers "The Scorpions" to a responsive packed house, and underlining The Rock Den of Hatfield as a venue bang on the rock map circuit.

The audience were well and truly stung with a 2 hour set kicking off with 'Hour 1' closely followed by 'Sting In The Tail’, 'Make It Real' and 'Pictured Life'.

Classic Scorpions tracks also included:  'Bad Boys Running Wild'. 'Coming Home',  'The Zoo' and Lead Singer Nigel Roberts picked up his guitar to join the band in the legendary instrumental 'Coast To Coast'.

The Den was now fully in swing, with party goers in Air Guitar mode as the sCOPYons  not only took control of the stage, but also the floor as Phil and Daz played their guitars in the middle of the crowd.

'Send Me An Angel' lead nicely into 'Holiday' where drummer Paul Anderson left his kit to join the crowd for a singalong before returning to finish the final run-in of seven more Scorpions classics including: 'No One Like You', 'Lovedrive', 'Another Piece of Meat',  'Rock You Like A Hurricane' and 'Big City Nights'. Two Encores, 'Blackout' and 'Can’t Live Without You' finished off the amazing polished set by the sCOPYons.

For those that couldn't make the show, don't worry; the whole gig was filmed by  Callum Oakaby Wright for later release on DVD
