The countdown to Christmas in Redbourn will officially begin on Sunday when the village’s annual festive fair take places.
The market’s organisers, a small group of volunteers who all have a passion for the village have been beavering away to make sure that this year’s launch is truly spectacular.
There will be a range of activities on offer for those with young families, including the switch-on of Christmas lights at 5pm.
Stalls will be located in Cumberland Gardens, the Village Hall and car park as well as stalls along part of Redbourn High Street, which will sell festive items, including food, produce and gifts.
Residents are advised part of the high street will be closed to enable people to properly enjoy the market without having to worry about cars.
Richard Bullen, from Redbourn Christmas Market, which will run between 11am and 5pm, said: "Redbourn is a hidden gem, largely unknown and unexplored by people outside of the village, so we are hugely excited to announce the four week countdown to Redbourn Christmas Market which will open up the village to a much broader audience".
