Singers from St Albans Choral Society will be spreading Christmas cheer around the city with a number of carolling events on Thursday, December 19.
Members of the choir will visit Verulam House, a nursing and residential care home, and Cotsmoor, a retirement estate, to sing carols for residents who will be invited to join in.
The choir will also entertain commuters at the city station in the evening rush hour to raise funds for Grove House.
Rod Cowper, chair of St Albans Choral Society, said: "We have been singing at the station for the past several years, raising hundreds of pounds for Grove House from generous commuters, and we thought it would be great to include singing with some of the city's senior citizens to wish them the best for the season.
"We’re hoping to sing at more senior living facilities next year and hope managers will contact us if they would like a visit."
