On October 30, 2013, took a vehicle without the consent of the owner; also, on same date, drove in Markyate, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 73 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Also, on same date, drove without a valid licence and used a vehicle without insurance. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Costs: £145. Banned from driving for 20 months, to be reduced by 20 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Jamie Paul Carrier, 35, of Hopkins Crescent, Sandridge. On September 16, 2013, stole meat worth £42.12 from M&S, St Albans. Also, on September 2, 1013, was in possession of a quantity of diamorphine, a class A drug. Community order made with drug rehabilitation and supervision requirements. Costs: £145.
