Residents will be able to get a close look at a collection of model railways at an exhibition in St Albans next weekend.

The annual St Albans Model Railway Exhibition 2014 will be held in The Alban Arena on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12.

More than 20 working model railways will be on display over the weekend as well as demonstrations and static exhibits.

Many related trade societies in the area will also be setting up stands to talk to visitors about their involvement.

A second hand parts stall will also be running throughout the weekend.

The exhibition will open between 10am and 6pm on Saturday and from 10am until 5pm on Sunday.

Admission will cost £8 for adults, which includes two free children’s tickets. Additional children’s tickets cost £4.
