A St Albans charity dedicated to supporting people with addiction problems will get a spring clean boost thanks to a county council grant.
The Living Room, based in Hatfield Road, has received £220 to help pay for annual cleaning and the cost of renting car park space, which aims to maintain a pleasant environment for both clients and staff.
The charity runs a new recovery centre, which aims to provide therapy for those seeking recovery from a range of addictions as well as family support services.
The cash has come from Hertfordshire County Council’s locality budget scheme.
