Elderly woman in critical condition after Redbourn crash
A woman in her 80s is in a critical condition after a car accident in Redbourn this morning.
Hertfordshire Police said they were called after reports that a silver Ford Focus and grey Peugeot 206 had crashed in Dunstable Road.
Location of the crash
Kingsbourne Green Lane and Harpenden Lane are currently closed while the two vehicles involved are cleared.
The East of England Amblualance Service Trust said two rapid response vehicles attended along with an ambulance, paramedic officer and air ambulance.
The woman in her 80s was flown to the Royal London Hospital after suffering head and leg injuries.
