Peter Field from St Albans sent the Review these stunning shots of a very unusual sighting of a Kingfisher as he walked with his grandson along the River Ver, through Verulamium Park this week.

Peter told us the sighting was in the overhanging branches of a tree along the unusually high and fast flowing River Ver, opposite the boating lake.
