Craig John Sutherland, 36, of Stanley Avenue, St Albans. On September 21, 2013, at St Albans, trespassed on a railway bridge in dangerous proximity to overhead power cables directly above the running lines and caused to be obstructed an engine or carriage using the railway. Committed to prison for 12 weeks.
Mohammed Uzzal Miah, 26, of Dellfield, St Albans. On August 10, 2013, drove in Sandpit Lane, St Albans, while banned from driving; also, on same date, drove without insurance. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Order includes programme and supervision requirements. Costs: £165. Banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for three years, five months and 18 days, until June 24, 2017.
Lachman Bhojwani, 57, of Grosvenor Road, St Albans. On October 22, 2013, attended a specific address contrary to restraining order made on July 25, 2013. Committed to prison for one week, concurrent to existing sentence.
Agnes Margaret Symmonds, 42, of Ellis House, Charrington Place, St Albans. On August 2, 2013, drove in Glenferrie Road, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 60 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Community order made with programme and supervision requirements. Costs: £360. Banned from driving for 36 months.
