An awards ceremony to celebrate the success of youth workers will take place in St Albans this month.
On January 30, The Pro-Action Awards. will recognise a number of people includuing Volunteer of the Year, Young Achiever of the Year, Youth Worker and Play Worker of the Year at a ceremony in the Old Town Hall.
The awards will be presented by Lord Charles Cecil of Hatfield, patron of Pro-Action Hertfordshire and long time supporter of youth work across the county.
During the same event certificates will be presented to youth workers and play workers who have completed their courses in their area of work, undertaken with Pro-Action.
These will be presented by Annie Brewster, the Mayor of St Albans who is also a champion for young people in the area.
