St Albans road closures due to icy conditions
Numerous road closures have been put in place across St Albans district this morning because of icy conditions.
A driver alerted police to icy conditions in Coopers Green Lane at approximately 5.45am this morning after he crashed his white Citroen van into a tree.
The road was closed at 6am and remains closed. The driver received no injuries and arranged his own recovery.
The Bell Roundabout, the junction between Sandpit Lane and Coopers Green Lane, the Green Lane junction with Monmouth Road and the junction between Green Lane and Great Braitch Lane, Hatfield have been closed by the Highways Agency.
