Staff at a St Albans solicitors have raised more than £4,000 for Keech Hospice Care.

Rayden Solicitors based in Upper Marlborough Road presented a £4,258 cheque to Maggie Doust from the Hospice. The Rayden team took part in a number of fundraising events last year to raise money for their 2013 Charity of the Year, including a quiz night and a series of fundraising legal seminars for local solicitors.

As well as this solicitors Rebecca Harling and Rachel Willmott raised £325 at Run to the Beat in Greenwich and even the firm’s children got involved, raising £150 at the Butterfly World Fun Run.

Julian Bremner from Rayden said: "As a firm, we very much believe in supporting our local community. The whole team enjoyed getting behind this really worthy cause and we are delighted with the amount we have raised."
