Last chance to enter cathedral's young musicians competition
School children in St Albans are running out of time to enter a competition for young musicians.
The closing date for the St Albans Cathedral Music Trust’s Young Musicians competition, which is open to all school children living in St Albans, is February 14.
The competition is split into four categories: solo instrument, vocal ensemble, classical ensemble and popular ensemble.
Entrants must submit a CD recording of their chosen performance, the best of which will make it through to the next round.
The winners of each category will receive £100 at the final on March 23 at St Albans Cathedral.
