Elderly woman take to hospital after being hit by car
A 70-year-old woman was taken to hospital yesterday evening after being hit by car in St Albans.
The pedestrian was walking along the zebra crossing in St Peter’s Street, when she was hit by a green Volkswagon Bora at approximately 5.15pm.
She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
