St Albans MP Anne Main has visited a local church to hear about the work of a new debt counselling charity.

Mrs Main visited St Paul’s Church in Hatfield Road to meet staff from the Debt Help Centre there, that is working in partnership with Christians Against Poverty (CAP).

CAP is a national debt counselling charity working through a network of centres based in local churches and offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth Debt Help service.

Sustainable poverty relief is offered through debt counselling, advice and practical help. Residents can get debt help by calling 0800 328 0006.
