More than 80 visitors turned out to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre in St Albans to enjoy a free day of family fitness.
The Holywell Hill leisure centre opened its doors to hold a day of free family fitness, fun and prizes on Saturday, February 8.
Visitors tested their co-ordination, agility and stamina when they joined in on a variety of activities including dance competitions, dodgeball games, splat contests on the interactive wall, Trixter bike races, bouncy castle fun and group exercises.
Steve Cox, Everyone Active manager said: "The Big Family Challenge day went exceptionally well and it was great to see people of all ages and abilities taking part and having fun.
"With obesity a growing national concern, we’re encouraging and supporting the local community to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
"The Big Family Challenge day provided an ideal opportunity for families to dust off the cobwebs, beat the winter blues and take part in fun activities while enjoying some exercise."
