The Hertfordshire and Middlesex Badger Group took to the streets of St Albans on Saturday to raise awareness of a march they have organised against the badger cull.
The group handed out leaflets on a St Albans Market stall to tell residents about the march, which will take place on Saturday, March 1 from Ye Olde Fighting Cocks in Abbey Mill Lane at 1pm.
People are asked to assemble outside the pub at 12.30pm to hear speeches from Dominic Dyer, Care for the Wild, St Albans MP Anne Main and Michael Clark, Herts and Middlesex Badger Group.
Jo Russell from the group said: "It went really well and we had quite a lot of interest and it was great to raise awareness.
"Many people said were interested in attending to hear our guest speakers and would possibly take part in the march."
