Strong winds caused a 50-foot tree to come crashing down in St Albans on Saturday.
Fire services were called to Wax House Gate when the tree toppled over across the road from Abigail’s Tea Rooms at 11.25am.
A chainsaw was used to cut the tree down and firefighters made the area safe until they left the scene at 1.11pm.
