Scouts from 3rd Harpenden Scout Group finished as runners up at the Hertfordshire County Scouts cooking competition at the weekend.
The team impressed Tewin Bury Farm Hotel Chef Ivor Morgan with their culinary skills, which was based on competition theme, Fair Trade.
The group had beaten off 11 other Scout groups to get to the finals, where they were given a budget and had to decide on a menu, buy the ingredients, prepare, cook and eat the food.
Judge Ivor Morgan also assessed the scouts on the presentation of the table and the food.
