Three large model aircrafts are among the items stolen during a burglary in St Albans last week.

Hertfordshire Constabulary is investigating the crime which took place between 10am on Tuesday, February 25 and 7.30am on Wednesday, February 26 at an address in Hill End Lane.

The burglars climbed over the back garden fence and broke into the shed and stole the three radio controlled model aircrafts.

An orange Paslode nail gun, a blue Makita drill and a silver Kango concrete breaker were also taken.

Police constable Hussain Skoien is investigating and said: "The items stolen in this burglary are very distinctive, particularly the model aircraft. I would ask that if anyone knows of any of the items’ location, or has been offered items of a similar description for sale recently, to please contact me straight away.

"I would also ask that if anyone remembers seeing anything unusual or suspicious between the stated times in the area of the burglary to contact me. However insignificant you may believe the information is it may be vital to the investigation."

Anyone with information can contact PC Skoien on 101, citing crime reference F3/14/286 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
