Hertfordshire Constabulary will be going head-to-head with the Watford Rugby Football Club team later this month.
Residents are invited to the community rugby event at Watford RFC, in Radlett Road, from 12.30pm to 4pm on Sunday, March 16.
The rugby match will kick off at 2pm.
As well as watching the match, residents will also be able to look around police and fire vehicles, meet their local officers and watch a fire demonstration.
There will also be finger printing and police costumes for children to dress up in.
Police Constable Chris Jones from the Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team organised the event.
He said: "This is going to be a real community event. For those who enjoy rugby, it proves to be an interesting match. And for those who aren’t there’ll be lots to see and do, for all the family. We’d love for people to come along on the day and join us."
