Children got into the spirit of World Book Day by bringing their favourite characters to life at a St Albans nursery.
Where’s Wally, Little Bo Peep and Cinderella were just some of the fictional heroes children at Lady Birds Nursery in Hill End Lane dressed up as on Thursday, March 6.
Julie O’Kelly, nursery owner said: "It went really well. Our staff and children made a real effort to take on board the ethos of World Book Day and what it is all about.
"The children really enjoyed it and these one off events are really nice to entwine with the children’s everyday learning."
During the day, children also brought in their favourite books for a storytelling session.
