Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s was attacked in St Albans.

The assault took place at around 1.45pm in Hatfield Road on Friday, March 14 when the victim was approached by two men from behind and hit to the neck.

The victim fell to the floor causing him to injure his nose.

The suspects are described as Asian men aged between 20 and 30 years old. They were wearing black hooded tops and black gloves and ran off in the direction of Morrisons.
