A special service to commemorate the First World War will take place in London Colney thanks to a £500 cash boost.

London Colney Parish Council has recieved the grant to help them fund a special service, which will take place on Remembrance Sunday (November 9) at the War Memorial in High Street.

The cash comes from Hertfordshire County Council's locality budget.
