Two schools in St Albans were recently treated to a visit from 'The Mathemagician'.
Andrew Jeffery made the visits to St Alban & Stephen Infant and Junior schools last week.
Steph Curtis, school governor, said: "Children were treated to magic, comedy and maths - all with the intention of subtly changing their attitude to maths, and making them realise maths can be fun."
Both schools were involved in a maths trail where the younger children were partnered up with an older child to help and children at the Infant School also took part in a Bring and Buy sale which successfully helped them understand the concept of money.
