Women will strut their stuff during a charity fashion show on Thursday to raise money for a St Albans charity dedicated to supporting people with HIV.

Chloe James will host the charity fashion show in aid of the Crescent, based in Russell Avenue at Cotes Brasserie in the High Street from 7pm.

Donna Nichol, owner of the High Street boutique, said: “Tickets have now sold out, which is great.

“After meeting everyone at the Crescent, they are a brilliant charity.

“It receives no government funding and is entirely run on donations, so we are keen to do all we can to keep it going.”

The Crescent is entirely reliant on donations after government funding was pulled in 2011.
