Forget the historic rivalry taking place on the Thames, an event in the style of the Oxford vs. Cambridge goat race will take place in Willows Farm Village in London Colney on Sunday.

Two crews of goats and jockeys will be donning either a light or dark blue coat, in the style of the famous Oxford and Cambridge colours in a bid to show which team can ‘goat’ the distance the teams will be racing around the sheep racing track.

Crowds will be racing to Willows to cheer on their chosen team of goats, and if they back the winning team, by choosing the light or dark blue ticket before the race, they will win a special prize badge.

The goat race will take place at the Coursers Road farm on April 6 during their Easter Eggstravaganza event.
